Gotta love craftsman and at a great price to boot. These ratchet wrenchs are well designed and tough. Craftsman chrome has always been good. Bought a dickies roll up storage bag for them and they are ready to go.
Update:1 star to 4arrangements have been made to rectify my situation and i’m very pleased with the speed at which this has taken place. I got a box of loose tools that were obituary a return item. It honestly looks like all the bad tools from several sets were all out in one box and sold to me.
A lot of people say these are crap ,but i,ll let you know these are no different from gearwrench as far as fit is concern ,made in china o. K so they have a little more material around the open end so what. They have a life time warranty so get over the whining.
Craftsman looks as good as it works. Have some tools over 25 years old and still working like new. These looks to be same great quality. They have stood up to some tough bolts and no issues at all.
I would have given this 5 stars, but when it arrived the wrenches were scattered in the package instead of in their proper compartments. A little worried that the case will not keep them organized for me, but i received a full set and quality seems pretty good so i’ll be keeping them.
What can i say they are craftsman, i put a lot of pressure on the ratcheting side of the wrench and i didn’t break it, these are sturdy and worth the money.
- Basic, entry level wrenches with ratcheting. If that’s what you want, buy with confidence.
- Best wrenches I’ve ever bought (not made of yak excreta.)
- Lobster claw not a big deal fit and finish are still good.Made in china what isn,t these days
I didnt think i needed these until i bought them. Now i am wondering why and how i completed some jobs without them. Make a lot of automotive tasks easy.
I have had craftsman tools for 30 years. Good automotive tools for weekend auto jobs in the garage. This is my first set of ratcheting wrenchs. They get into hard to reach places where a socket wil not work.
Expected a a bit better quality from craftsman but would buy again.
These are much better than expected. I would not use them in a heavy torque situation, likely to strip the ratchets. The ratchet end are not too oversized, though i have had the issue of clearance, but just used a socket instead. The 20 piece set is a good combination – i may by a few individuals or an oversized set, but i’m not sure i’ll need to.
Sometimes you need the right tool at the right time, with craftsman’s quality, you can’t go wrong.

As a commercial tow truck driver i love it specifically when i pull out the drive line and the axles on trucks.
Been in the market for years for geared box wrenches. Then i saw a decent variety set from a reputable brand for a good price. These may stay in the ‘wrench wrap’ i bought along with this set for years. But i’ll have them when i need them. Which is a family tradition.
I don’t write reviews normally, but i wanted to write this one, after reading all the different reviews, especially 1 and 2 star reviews. It seems people want a 5 star hotel at motel 6 pricing. Look people, you get what you pay for. Yes: these are chinese, and not top of the line craftsman. This set in that top quality will run you $200 or so. You can buy the basic wrench from craftsman even cheaper if you forgo the ratcheting closed end if price is your only concern. I’ve used craftsman hand wrenches for 40+ years and never felt the need for any higher end brand name tools. Consistency of fit was always good and so to was strength and reliability. I have the good craftsman stuff in my box, but wanted these for a tool backpack that frankly, will get beat. I wanted the ratcheting box for speed, and not tear up $200 in wrenches that will rust to pieces eventually in all the wet these will get.
These wrenches are absolutely, hands down, the best set of hand tools i’ve ever bought. Everywhere a socket doesn’t fit that you have to grab an end wrench, one of these will fit, and most likely will ratchet. I guess i could have spent a lot more on wrenches and gotten some that click after 1/4 of a degree or whatever, but i honestly don’t care. I already have saved so much time and literal anguish thanks to these. It’s usually some stupid nut on the backside of something that otherwise has miles of clearance. Pop one of these guys on and it’s off in twenty seconds. If you’re me or like me (more likely, only one me), you drop the wrench you’re using into the bowels of the front cross member somehow while struggling to get it off the nut you can’t even see to move the wrench back to the starting position so you can turn it 1/15th of a turn before doing the whole thing again and it is gone forever and you die from frustration.
These are great wrenches at a great price. My only wish was that they came with some kind of storage. I bought red and black plastic things they hang in from another vendor.
Great tools, had then over a year and they still look new and work like they just got out of the box. I kept them inside and cleaned then after every use.
10 Inch Sizes: 1/4, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16 and 3/4″
I made a beautiful tool holder fot this whole set out of cedar with dowels. And they work just as good as they look.
