Received product ahead of promised delivery date. The jaco flowpro tire inflator gauge meets or exceeds my expectations. The gauge is easy to read with large numbers on the dial. The ‘locking’ mechanism on the ‘nozzle’ works great.I really like the face that the gauge ‘holds’ the pressure reading. This enables me to look closer at the gauge by taking it off of the valve stem and holding it near my face. The extra screw on ‘nozzle’ is a real nice bonus. The whole device is easy to use and the rubber hose is of sufficient length to make using it handy. Thanks for providing a quality product in a timely fashion.
Spent alot’a bucks on inflators thru the years. If it ever fails, i’ll buy another. Easy to read dial, extra chuck type a plus too, i like being able to go passed the needed psi. The 20′ chuck hose is real handy. I have 14 tires to maintain pressures on. This flowpro’s is on my pick-up’s on- board compressor. Another will be in my shop, for general use. Thanks amazon, for carrying their products.
I purchased this in dec 16 and didn’t use it much till the summer of 17. In sept i did a long motorcycle trip so wanted to check my tires. I checked every gauge i had and this definitely read high. The device filled and blead just fine so i had to ignore the gauge. I assumed i just had to buy another and amazon wouldn’t let me do anything at this point. Luckily jaco has their contact link on the page. I sent a brief email explaining my issues. The owners quickly responded gave a sincere apology and quickly took care of me, also ensuring the calibration of the replacement. I am so glad when i see such old school customer service.
The dial needle stopped registering pressure on the gage not long after i this for my dad. I bought another jayco air gage to replace it. Shortly after i received an email from jaco thanking me for buying a second unit. I told them the first had failed and i would be sending it back. During our email exchanges i remarked that dad liked the digital model even better that the first one, and they asked if i wanted the digital model to replace the dial unit. They sent me another digital 200psi inflator to replace it, even though it was a little more expensive. I have had several good brands of tire gages, and even so i wanted a jaco of my own after seeing dads.
The tire inflator gauge is exactly what i had been looking for. Last saturday i set my little pancake compressor to make 100 lbs of compressed air and pumped up my mower tires (thank you bougainvilla), my car tires, and my daughter’s car tires. When i scrolled through the status pages on my steering wheel, all four were inflated to exactly 35 pounds. It’s very liberating not to have to stop by the tire store and wait for a fill-up and make sure i have cash to tip the guy, or looking for coins at a convenience store machine that may or may not work, and runs a whole two minutes. I’m a 59 year old grandma and i love this thing. The only thing that could make it better would be a loop or something to hang it from in my garage. Also, i loved the little roll of teflon tape that was included.
After years of frustration using a cheap harbor freight air compressor, a hard 25′ hose, a basic tire inflator nozzle and a pen style tire pressure gauge, and i finally decided to ‘treat myself’ and bought some high quality equipment. I bought a really nice, small california air tools compressor, highly rated coiled 25′ hose and this jaco flowpro tire inflator guage and wow. Now i’m a happy camperthe gauge on this jaco unit is just the right size and very easy to read so you get the exact pressure in your tires that you want. Inflate with the big lever, deflate with the smaller brass button on the side. The high quality brass nozzle on the end of the hose has a little lever that you press, then push the nozzle onto the valve stem where it locks on. I just inflated the tires on my two cars and two motorcycles and used to be a dreadful task is now quick and easy. No wonder why this jaco unit gets such great reviews. I recommend that you buy it.
- Works fine, but had to ‘Repair it’ before use., the Co. Contacted and made it right !
- Highly recommended – I love mine!!
- Rest assured JACO stands by their product
I don’t know why i waited so long to get this. I have a smaller jaco gauge that i use and loved it. But i hated having to go from the air chuck to the gauge, back to the air chuck, etc. Finally ordered this and used it today. I filled my tires to the right psi and was done in 1/4 time it usually takes to puts around with checking the air after filling.
Wasn’t too sure about the ad for this product. There are obviously dozens of imitations out there. This one was the only one that seemed both original and offered a life-time guarantee. I tested it out on my wifes’ car tires. Deflated one tire completely, and filled it back up very easily. The other three tires were over filled (probably due to someone guessing the pressure at gas station). The release valve is a bit slow by design, but very useful. Overall, i can tell this is going to help fill bike and car tires, as well as filling sports equipment with ease. Not sure why i was hesitant to get this. After using it, i think it will last a very long time, and is well worth it.
This product works well, connects securely to the tire valve and has positive on and off flow. The gauge is easy to read and handy. My only concern is its accuracy. I also bought the jayco deluxe tire pressure gauge and the two gauges read 5psi difference. Using a third gauge (different brand) showed pressure 2 psi lower than this gauge and 3 psi higher than the deluxe gauge. I will use a 4th gauge to figure out which is the closest to a true reading. Even with all that, this inflator works well and i wouldn’t use it to fine tune my tire pressure anyway. I just use it to get my tire up to the range i want and fine tune it with a gauge that isn’t connected to a hose.
I ordered two, one analog, the other digital. Received a 10% discount and they arrived a day ahead of the scheduled prime 2 day delivery. Very pleased i spent the extra bucks and ordered the more expensive jaco instead of saving a few cents and replacing my existing with the same chinese crap. The brass chuck for filling the tires locks securely on the tire without letting air out of the tire on install or release and both paddle valve and release valve have a positive seal. Not a vague locking, tinny fitting that lets air escape like the many cheaper units. Paddle operated pressure valve is quick with a positive seal. Digital gauge lights up in the dark and the analog gauge has a luminescent dial and needle which are great for filling in low light situations. . No more holding a flashlight to read the scale at night. The digital gauge reads from 0-220 which is fine because it has the same accuracy and is easily readable throughout the range. But more importantly the analog reads from 0-100 full scale in a 270 deg.
I purchased (2) of the jsp-012 inflator gauges. I’ve been comparing function and pressure readings between the 2 jaco’s and 2 of my harbor freight air gauges:the two jaco gauges read the same pressure at both low (~8 psi) to high (~60 psi) testing them on different implements on my property. The harbor freight pressure readings did not agree with the jaco gauges or each other, especially one day when i was checking pressures in 34 deg f weather. The jaco’s are very impressive with both filling and using the deflating button. Where the harbor freight gauges are very limited with filling and even worse when deflating (on the ones that have a deflator button). The new jaco automatic chuck adapter is very impressive. Easy to use and hasn’t leaked to date. I will update if that changes. Lastly, at my age (retired), i can’t overstate how easy the gauges are to read without resorting to finding my reading glasses.

It had loose fittings, 2 leaks and was not assembled well. I had to replace a torn o-ring to stop a minor leak. I also teflon taped all of the fittings to seal them properly. It is very accurate, and works well, but i spent 20 minutes ‘making it right’ before i could use it. The seller contacted me, asked me not to negatively review until i contacted them and i told them of the issue, never received a response after that. I’m sure they would have replaced it, but i needed it and couldn’t be bothered with repacking/re-shipping, etc. It is a quality/assembly control issue in my opinion. Had it been pressure tested at the factory it may have been fine. After i fixed the issues i described above, however, i will say it is still working fine. ***update 10/14/2016 the company contacted me, apologized and is refunding the full price.
I bought the jako flopro inflation tool and the elite pro pressure measuring gauge. Both units have easy to read analog gauges. However, they read 2 to 3 pounds different. I know how to use these tools. I race my cars and i need to adjust my pressure often. It is disappointing that these seemingly well made tools cannot perform within their specified +/- 3 %. 8 pounds, so they are close, but lame. I am keeping them because all i need to know is the pressure that gets me around the track fast.
This tire inflator gauge makes it easy to inflate your tires to whatever pressure you want (up to 100psi). No more back and forth between tire gauge and compressor, this device does it all at once. Simply attach the appropriate connector (it’s included) for your compressor using the provided sealing tape to prevent leaks. Plug the connector into your compressor, snap the other end onto your tire valve, and inflate until you reach the desired pressure. If you put in too much air, there’s a release button to let some out. The inflator is built like a tank and is easy to read. The co-founder of the company even emailed me after my inflator arrived just to be sure i was happy with my purchase. This kind of customer service is rare and is greatly appreciated.
Well constructed and easy to use. Package was complete with standard pneumatic male fitting for the air supply connection, a small roll of teflon tape, and two tire inflator options. One is a clamp-on and the other a straight push-on style. You can easily swap out the inflator nozzles without tools. The lever activator makes it easy to control, with the dial showing the actual pressure within the tire, etc. (just momentarily close the activator lever to get a reading.
Seems well made and designed. I recently purchased it to use on the porter-cable compressor i also purchased from amazon. The features that i like are the in-line on/off air valve and pressure gauge, the ability to release air pressure if you over inflate without disconnecting from the tire valve and the option to either clip on or screw on to the tire valve stem. I’ve used it on auto tires, trailer tires and mountain bike tires that required a schrader to presta valve attachment available at bike shops, but don’t use it with a compressor on road bike tires as they have high pressure at very low air volume and you’ll probably blow them off the rim.I also plan to use it this fall when blowing out my lawn sprinkler system that i have set up with a schrader valve connection.
