Their torx set has performed exceedingly well under plenty of stress (i used my t-35 and t-25 to torque bolts to 185 ft-lbs and 125-lbs respectively) and even to remove rusty bolts of various sizes. Every time something got stripped, the bits would come out fine and even worked for a few types of metric allen bolts (probably not recommended by neiko but i didn’t notice any damage).

Neiko usa offers 30 day manufacturing defect return window and a 15 day “buyers remorse” window but also states “we will not entertain any arguments that a tool broke during proper application”. If you break a bit, napa has individual replacement sockets. Intended for light duty, not intended for impact socket use. A high quality set would probably be close to $100. For instance, the 14mm 1/2 drive hex socket from napa is $13.
These bits are perfect for working on a bicycle. The larger bits fit on my 3/8′ drive torque wrench for things like crank bolts and the smaller bits fit on my smaller 1/4′ drive wrench and fit well in tight spaces that would be frustrating with a traditional hex wrench. I’m sure i will find plenty of other uses for these as well. Case works fine, the bits to not click in to place like some plastic storage containers, but they do not come out of place when the top is closed.
I was working on my bike and needed metric bits. Went all over to various auto parts stores and ended up only finding one that offered/had metric bits in stock. They wanted $50 for a set, with roughly the same range of bits. This bothered me a lot and i immediately got on amazon and searched for bits. Just wow on the price point of this set. Not only were they cheap but they are very well made and sturdy. One disappointment however is that the bits don’t lock into the provided case and are free to bounce around when open. I bumped and kicked it a few times and had to reorganize them, but overall, am very happy with the product.
I use this set with the tekton torque wrench for all of my bike maintenance, a must-have for keeping the bikes tuned during racing season. So far, this set has been an awesome addition to my tool set and have not had any problems with it.
I have a 1995 hummer h1 and i replaced some of the factory body armor for aftermarket. To get them off i needed a 5. I couldn’t find this size at home depot, lowes, osh hardware, sears and a local specialty tool store. Bought this set because it was only a few dollars more for this set than just a single 5. The quality surprised me because i didn’t expect it to be stronger than the bolts holding the body armor on (considering all the bolts used for structural soundness are a grade 8 or stronger. This bit stripped the bolt that was stuck (ended up cutting it out) and started to strip a couple of other bolts until i started lubricating the bolt and using the method of unscrewing a bit and then re-tightening. Keep doing that a bit at a time until the bolt comes out. I hope the rest of the bits are up to this par.

If you break a bit, napa has individual sockets. Intended for light duty occasional use, not intended for impact socket use. A high quality set would probably be over $75. For instance the 3/8-inch hex for 3/8 inch square drive is $5. I did not use the carry and storage case, instead i integrated the sockets with my existing 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch square drive socket sets. All of the bits are press fit into the socket and therefore not interchangeable.
I’ve been using these with a socket wrench, i haven’t used every size, but buying this kit was far cheaper than getting just the 4 sizes i needed. The carrying case is sturdy, and stays closed. As someone mentioned i wouldn’t recommend them on an impact drill, but a regular cordless driver should work fine. Great buy for the set at the ~$15 price.
I bought these mostly for torquing bolts on bicycles. These bit sockets are high quality, and they interface well with all my hardware, a great fit. The case is sturdy, the bits lay in it nicely, and the latch is very secure. There are size labeled receptacles for each bit; the labels are consistently molded into the case, protruding. 6mm from the surface, making them impossible to fade. As mentioned, the bits lay in the case, as opposed to snapping in, and so there is 3. 5mm thick sheet of foam which rests over the bits, keeping them from rattling around when the case is closed. This foam sheet is loose, and so you must keep track of it, but im sure one could attach it the lid of the case if they preferred. The bits don’t come loose without the foam, but they are pretty noisy. I actually prefer this over snap in receptacles because i enjoy the ease of access when i am using them, and swapping back and forth.
I am a little peeved that the first time i used the 3/32 it was a few days past the eligible return date. I have used several in the set and seem fine but the 3/32 i used to torque a ring cap screw. The mfg suggested torque was 28 in lbs. I always torque my way up in steps and the socket snapped before i got to 20 in lbs. It did not give any prior indication of snapping such as twist or flex. I can only guess that it was over hardened to the point of being brittle and had stress fractures in it when i received it. I have had no issues out of the torx set just like it and no issue thus far with any of the others so i can only assume it is an isolated incident. It did cost me though as when it snapped it scratched the finish on the ring costing me another $60 to replace the ring set.
This is a pretty good little set, but it’s not meant for high torque applications. I tried using it for reassembling the strut tower on my car (to hold a stud in place while torquing a nut) and the bit just snapped.
This is a pretty decent set for the price. The steel seems hard enough and the fit and finish is good. The fit obviously isn’t as precise as a wiha set, but for someone who somewhat frequently needs hex bits it’s great. I managed to break the 5mm bit on a stuck exhaust bung bolt, but that was probably a job for an impact wrench anyway. If you work on motorcycles a lot, you might want to consider a nicer set. These work, but if you have to apply significant torque they tend to damage the fastener heads a little. For the first few uses that is okay, but if you own a bike that constantly needs wrenching *cough italian* then you’ll need to start replacing fasteners every once in a while. They definitely fit better than an equivalent harbor freight set. The case is decent, it holds the bits in place. They fit a little loosely which is mitigated by the little sheet of foam that comes with it.
Needed some hex bit to do some mechanical work but needed something with more leverage. I was using l shape hex tools and they just didn’t cut the job. Got this in, attached it to my 3/8 ratchet and got the bolts off easily. These are hex bit with 3/8 attachment, they work, they are quality. Not much else to say, price is also very good considering it comes with a sturdy case to keep track of them. Here are the specifications for the Neiko 10075A Hex Bit Socket Set:

Have been working on my motorcycle trying to get ready for this riding season (in which i am already late), but i was using some cheaper tools from harbor freight and that was the wrong move especially after trying to break bolts that have been on for quite some time. The harbor freight tools snapped right in half. I do understand that they are good for harry homeowner projects but these stood the test of time as i put them to work as soon as they came in the mail. Broke the bolts and seemed to serve the purpose throughout the job.
Better quality than harbor freight for similar price. I needed a 10 mm hex for tranny fluid change, decided to buy this set based on price and reviews. Definitely not disappointed, couldn’t imagine paying $100 for these on a tool truck. I do have several snap-on and matco tools as well as a bunch of craftsman tool, however, for something that won’t get tons of use like these and the xzn bits i bought from this company, the price is just right. It’s actually a high quality steel as well so i doubt there will be breakage problems even with light impact use.
