Fit just right on all sizes. Hammer them with air guns all day. Etching numbers have stayed despite scratching. The little hole is nice for when youre using a ratchet. Dude forget snap on, matco sockets. These are lifetime warranty. 7mm and 19 are nice sizes to have in 3/8ths. Also got the same set in shallow sockets.
I was tempted to say adequate but that’s not fair. These are made in taiwan 🇹🇼. And i find myself more and more impressed with the tools coming out of taiwan. This is actually my first set of impact sockets. I gave them a try on the lug nuts on my truck, using my bosch impact gun. The machining appears to be quite good.
I found that my stock air intake on 2015 mustang was missing the fastener bolt. Ford dealership gave me a free replacement set, but i didn’t have the right socket size. Turns out i needed just a 10 mm socket but i went and got this whole set because i like tekton and own the larger socket set i use for wheel lug nuts. The 10 mm socket in this set worked great with my 7. 5″ 3/8 ratchet to get the bolt fastened down to the air intake. There is very little room to turn that ratchet, and the deep socket helps gain more clearance to be able to turn the handle.
I use impact sockets every day of my life. If i’m not using them full-time at work then i’m using them part-time at home for side work and projects. Tekton has been an incredible value with sockets that are precise in size yet durable in construction. There have been a few occasions where i must use an impact socket as a pressing tool whether for balljoints or a universal joint replacement and tekton can take the abuse. I have yet to scratch off the laser etching and i don’t think i ever will. Trust me, i’ve been a master certified tech for 10 years now, this is my life. I own a vast array of tools and i assure you that tekton sockets are an excellent value. No, $400 in sockets from snap on to get a “free” ratchet is not a good deal. Convenient, sure, but i bleed and sweat for my money so i can always appreciate my dollars going a little further. Save yourself some money, buy an affordable socket set and save the tool truck financing for things like pry bars, breaker bars, etc.
Did a little research and ended up purchasing since i only needed them to remove a few bolts on my truck. When i received them they arrived in the original packaging and on time. I’m no tool expert but they fit on my impact perfectly and on the bolts super snug. They did the job they were intended to, i would recommend and purchase again if needed.
If there is anyone out there questioning the quality of tekton impact sockets let me add my two cents worth of knowledge for your consideration. I’ve owned and used in a professional setting for over 10 years now, the older tekton 1/2′ drive impact socket set, michigan industrial tools was the name back then but i must say you can’t beat these sockets, you would have a hard time beating these sockets at any price that includes your snappy sets or matco ect i’ve had the big name sockets break while my old mit set was new just setting in my box as a backup set it never failed if i brusted a socket i could grab a 3/4′ impact a snappy reducer and a mit socket and the bolt/nut was the next thing i broke weather it be loose or in half they moved, i have since sold my name brand 1/2′ drive impact sockets and needless to say the mit set is my go to everytime sockets, while a new set of tekton is my backups i just bought a set of the 3/8′ drive impact sockets to backup my wright set if tekton has not changed anything about the production of these sockets i expect these will soon be my go to sockets for use on a milwaukee fuel. I’ll update this post later but i fully expect these to be top grade impact sockets.
They are every bit as strong and durable as my 1/2′ set, and actually i use these a lot more than the 1/2′ now. I love the perfect sized blow molded case that isn’t 50% larger than it needs to be like most manufacturer’s make theirs. And like all tekton’s impacts, i’m a big fan of the easy to read laser etched identification on the side of each socket. These sockets are probably my most used tools.
I bought the entire set, 1/2 deep/shallow and 3/8 deep/shallow, and i have to say i really like these sockets. I’m just a lube tech, but i do a lot more than oil changes at my shop. And having a good set of impacts are essential. These play the part and then some. Only gripe with these is the box didn’t come with a foam insert to help the sockets from moving around when transporting and when removing a socket from an anvil/ratchet head they come off a little too easy for my liking. But other than that i definitely recommend buying a set.

I’ve had these for awhile now. This a great socket set to have in your home toolbox. I bought this specifically when i was putting together a tool set for powersports (dirt bikes/4 wheelers) when we were on the road. The sockets are of high quality and i think with the price you’re getting a great value. I plan on buying the sae 3/8 inch set soon.
After many years of incomplete sets of sockets, lost or missing sockets and cheap tools in general – decided to start replacing them with nicer items. Had these for a few months now and got them based on the reviews here – not disappointed in the slightest. They look and perform well and have been handy for fixing more than a few things on two vehicles, the lawnmower and around the house. Convenient case – only wish they made a larger case to keep both shallow and deep socket sets in together – instead i have 3 different cases for 3 sets.
Quality tool for great price they are as strong as any snap on impact socket , which cost way lot less👍.
Sockets are well made and hold up for every day use but the number wear off after a month or so due to cleaning and rubbing other than that great socket set.
Tough choice between these and the $200+ snap on set. For a 3/8 impact, these do just fine. Been a technician for some time now and in my experience, not much of a difference between impact sockets. These work just the same as my 1/2 snap on impacts that cost more than i want to talk about. Only gripe is they are not as polished on the outside, so when using an impact and holding the socket it doesn’t ‘glide’ as nicely between your fingers, but i’m sure after a few months of use they might wear in. Have had pretty good luck with tekton, and for that reason, i keep ordering their things.
Purchased these to use at work and have found that they seem to be of a very high quality. (the case sucks though as over time the hinge will break apart) the sockets are also very tight on tolerances as they fit very tightly on bolts and nuts of the appropriate size and which are not rusty. These get 5 stars over all and i am looking forward to picking up more sets of the tekton sockets.
I purchased this set along with the shallow impact set for my husband. This is a great set in a heavy duty case. This would make a great gift for dads, brothers, uncles, etc. So affordable tekton 47925 3/8-inch drive deep impact socket set, 7-19mm, metric, cr-v, 6-point, 13 sockets.
Tekton is one of my new favorite brands. Taiwan tools seem to be leaps and bounds ahead of chinese tools. Since craftsman sockets are no longer us made (not even taiwanese). I had to find a new brand to go to for my socket needs. Very happy with everything tekton so far, these impact sockets are great and have functioned flawlessly so far.
